"The ultimate place for relaxation! Host was so kind and helpful with any questions we had. Enjoyed kayaking, relaxing by the campfire and fishing. Watching the sunrise is beautiful, coming up over the water. We brought all our food, so we enjoyed our family meal time right there. Highly recommend!!"

"8 college friends gathered at this property, a short drive to Sacandaga Lake. Large fully stocked kitchen, dining room seats 10, living room with fireplace and TV, plenty of sleeping space. Was easily able to communicate with owner and hope to return soon."

"This home was beautifully set up. We really enjoyed cooking meals and relaxing in the hot tub. Unfortunately, the weather wasn't great...it rained most of our stay. We took a few road trip and hung out in the house which was lovely. extremely low in the lake"

Near Empire State Trail, which was perfect because I was biking in and out from the trail. Host very accessible. Location appears rural, but there are active train tracks very nearby, so it can get noisy, but it settles a bit at night. "We ended up not staying. The description says it is a cabin, it is an old manufactured home (mobile home). When we pulled in there was items scattered around the yard, the grass hadn’t been mowed. When we got to the first step the wood need to be replaced. There were holes in the soffit. Once inside the couches looked old and dingy. The inside needed to be spruced up. I contacted the property owner and told her our concerns. Her response was “Things and furnitures are as in the pictures posted...

"The cabin experience was more than we expected. It was beautiful inside and out. It was very clean at arrival. We loved sitting outside listening to the owls at night, the kids skipped rocks on the pond and we stayed up late playing board games. I wish we had stayed longer since we had such a great time!! "

"The cottage was definitely older but was clean. The bathroom looked like it been redone recently and the kitchen had everything you would need to prepare your meals. The view from the cottage is much better than the impression you get from the online photos. The best part about the property is the location. The Griffis Road Marina is in a very secluded cove and is very calm. We had our Seadoo docked there for 6 days and rode over 200 miles during our stay. The Lake is Beautiful with many small...

"Hemlock Haven was a great spot to enjoy the Adirondacks, even in the middle of winter! We enjoyed the cozy gas fireplace and used the grill outside. A perfect location close to the beautiful Caroga Lake. We would love to come back next year! "

"I was placed in cabin C. Great experience but the snow wasn’t removed from walk way to enter the cabin and the pans they provided us weren’t the best. food would stick to it even with butter or spray on oil. Besides that it was great would for sure come back again!!"

"This VRBO was the perfect place to stay for my weekend getaway as it was close to family as well as a ton of amenities that were enjoyable even in a snow storm. Hosts were kind and flexible with some changing plans and I would definitely stay here again!"
