"Very clean, updated room, great staff and location."

"The pictures and website don't give this place justice, it was one of the most amazing and relaxing experiences I've had. I had a group of 4 and we booked a room with a private hot spring and foot bath. The room was traditional with the shoji doors and windows, everyone at the hotel is given yukata robes and sandals to wear which were comfortable and fun. We opted for the meals in the restaurant, I loved everything they served and the staff was so professional and kind. I recommend you eat everything with an open mind, it was delectable. We paid extra to visit the mountainside hot spring, it was a small outdoor walk and my favorite part. It's big enough for a group but I went with just my husband and it was a vibe. It was rainy and the sun was setting but I still loved it. I highly recommend staying here, and shout-out to the shuttle guy for driving everyone back and forth seamlessly from the train station "

"Facilities offer multiple options for pawns and saunas. Beds are super comfortable, rooms were large enough and well decorated in traditional Japanese style. Location is very convenient. "

"The hotel is located at the edge of Arashiyama park, so super convenient and walkable to the river band, the park observation point, the Seiryiji temple and bamboo forest, as well as the down town shopping/dinning area, yet, it is also sitting at a pretty quiet location. You can also walk cross the Togetsukyō bridge to the other side for the Monkey park, etc. The hotel room is very spacious, also offer hot spring pools for both female and male. The taxi ride from train station is not bad either. With all the items we loved as tourists, we would definitely recommend it to our friends. Thanks. "

"Amazing service and room. On check in, service desk has kindly inform us that our original room has an issue with the private bath and that they are still working on it. They kindy offered us an upgraded room which we happily accept. Turns out the upgraded room was so amazing that it left us with the best impression of what Japan has to offer.
