5/5 Excellent
"Staff went far beyond what we expected. Every single person was always accommodating and helpful.
The room was magnificent. In hindsight I think a regular tub would have been enough. The huge ceramic outside tub was beautiful, but being from California and drought conditions I felt guilty filling up the huge tub every night. Also eloquent, but if you are seniors, or have any hip/back complaints, there were multiple stairs inside our room. Although shallow, two up at entry. Two down for living room and one up for futon area.
We had breakfasts which were eloquently prepared. But beware that they are geared for the Japanese taste (as would/should be expected) so various fishes/seafood and vegetables maybe a bit foreign. Even the ‘western’ breakfast was not typical of the US. On the second morning we were served spaghetti with 2 kinds of fish, cold Japanese rolled eggs, and the ubiquitous salad, and of course rolls/bread. "
