"We stayed at Kaneyoshi Ryokan for a weeklong stay in Osaka and it was just perfection. First, location wise it was right in the heart of Dontonburi so if you’re there to see sights, then it is absolutely walkable (you’ll be right in the thick of the crowds and bustling energy of Osaka). As for the digs, it’s a very traditional Ryokan room despite being in such a modern city which was just amazing. The private and public baths were a real highlight. "I chose this ryokan since it was the only reasonably priced one in the Nara area. It has a beautiful garden just outside our room and the room itself was comfortable and large. The only downside to the place was the strong smell in the room and the cockroach that I had to kill as it crawled across the room."

"We enjoyed the ryokan very much for the authenticity of old Japan. The dinner and breakfast were outstanding. Wearing the yutaka at the property was such a thrill for us.
