"We loved the property and the carriage house. Our kids rode the paved bike trail next to the house. Loved seeing cows out the back window, and we could not smell them. The proximity to the Monument is a huge plus, and we enjoyed downtown Fruita which was only a few minutes away"

"We booked our stay after speaking with the front desk staff to confirm late checkout would be available until 1pm, needed for an event in the area. Upon arrival, we were only offered a late checkout of noon for an extra $25 fee. After a complaint, they were able to extend it to 12:30, but still frustrated by the rush this put us in. Overall, room was quiet and clean. The outlet in our room was falling out of the wall, but otherwise no major faults. Breakfast was standard offerings. "

"We requested (last minute) to check in the same day as booking, which is sometimes tough! The owners responded very quickly to my inquiry and allowed us to check in that day! The house was very clean and had everything you might need in the kitchen! We slept in the master with a king bed. I believe the mattress was newer but was just a bit soft for us…definitely not a game changer for sure!!!! Would totally stay again!!!"
