"Had a fantastic stay at the wild pheasant. Staff are lovely. Room was for 3 but only set up for 2, the staff couldnt be any quicker having the room amended for the 3 of us. Afternoon tea was gorgeous , spa immaculate and not overcrowded. Enjoyed a shoulder and back massage to finish the trip. It was perfect. Also very close to the centre nice 15 minute walk along the river"

"The hotel was lovely! It was so well done with stunning rooms, bar and restaurant. All staff were super helpful and friendly. Particularly the lady who served us as breakfast, she was so kind and great to chat to. Great location with beautiful views and easy access to walks in the surrounding area. Would definitely recommend!"

"We enjoyed our 1 night stay at Tyn-y-Coed - the location is excellent for walking from the doorstep and the parking is great. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and had good storage. The addition of a drying line in the bathroom is a super idea. We loved the styling of decor in reception and the bar/restaurant and enjoyed the Snowdon Lager on draught. We look forward to visiting again. "

"We stayed in one of the Stable lodges in the annexe. It was ok adjacent to the main hotel. Breakfast was good but expensive. It is an ok place to stay."

"The hotel is definitely in need of a refurbishment but it is in an ideal location on the High Street and only a few minutes walk to Bala Lake. All the staff were helpful and friendly, especially Tony, the chef, who cooked us a lovely breakfast too. All in all, we had a lovely short break here. "
