I’be been visiting this area for the past fifteen years and this is probably one of the nicest houses I’ve stayed in. "This pretty old villa is ideally located on the main road between beautiful Frigiliana and bustle Nerja. Ideally located within up hill walking distance to romantic Frigiliana which hosts many lovely restaurants, or an easy 10 min downhill bus ride to Nerja. Having the little bar close by was also very convenient. A spacious clean villa and beautiful garden and pool. Stephen was a great host. "

"The villa is beautiful and has everything you need. The pool is a good size and there is plenty of outside space including a nice brick BBQ. But the big thing is the views. You are directly above Frigiliana and the villa has some of the best views I have seen of the area. I would highly recommend this villa unless the access concerns you. Walking to it means climbing right through town which is a long and steep walk and quite hard work. Driving to it is via one of the typical campo roads for the area and not for the faint hearted. I love all that but some may not."

"We spent 9 days in the house and it was unforgettable time! The house, with its charming architecture, perfectly captures the spirit of the region. Situated in the heart of town, it's an ideal base for exploring, surrounded by charming stores and excellent restaurants. The location is unbeatable! The house is well-equipped, clean, and cozy. Each level - kitchen, living room, and bedrooms - has its own charm, but the rooftop terrace was our favorite, offering beautiful countryside views. We spent many peaceful mornings and evenings there, enjoying the sunsets. The owners were helpful and friendly, providing invaluable tips. Their recommendation of the beach in La Herradura was spot-on! It was intimate and scenic, and without their advice, we might have missed it. As with older homes, there were minor inconveniences. The lack of air conditioning could be challenging on hot days, and the multi-level layout meant a lot of stairs. Ants appeared but were no issue as long as food was stored properly. Additional advantage: our child learned to stay tidy, thanks to the ants :). In summary, this is a place with soul and character, a home, not a house, ideal for those seeking an authentic experience, not just a generic hotel. We were absolutely delighted and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a true Andalusian stay."

"We were an extended family- from late seventies tk babies and all in between. The villa/casa rural was absolutely amazing. The views of the surroundings and Frigiliana town are incredible. Emilia made sure we had arrived safely, touched base to let us know there was a town festival whilst there - so to show our reservation to be let through and for recommendation on which acts and actvities to participate in. The house has tons of space for sleeping, relaxing and socialising. Bedrooms across three areas, pool, bbq, ping pong table and garden. Some have commented on the steep roads to get there- yes it is curvy- you are in a mountain area-but everyone drives carefully and respectfully. Emilia was an amazing host - great recommendations on where to eat, shop, sites and beaches to visit. We would love to go back some day"
