This home was in a prime location to be able to fit in some of our favorites in the same day. There was more than enough room for all 12 of us; the cabin is stunning, cozy, and inviting; and their customer service is on point. "The cabin is an authentic log cabin with modern amenities. It brought about a great discussion of how the pioneers might have lived and how hard it was then. Judi had some extra conveniences that made it extra nice. The trains the regularly pass briught a lot of discussion about Early America. As stated in other comments the area leading to the cabin was a little sketchy but once at the end of the road you are around 2 other nice cabins and another well kept home. We would definitely stay there again if we ever are pass through. Only 20 mins from the Ark encounter so very convenient if that is your destination. "

"This cabin was a great place to stay! It is centrally located so we were able to enjoy Keeneland, the Bourbon Trail, Horse Farms plus trips to Danville, Shaker Village and downtown Harrodsburg. "We loved our stay! Our pup had the best time and the kids loves the rustic cabin. It was cold but we knew that going into it and were dressed accordingly. The heater kept it warm with the door shut. Our dog was very happy while we were at the Ark for the day. The host is wonderful and vet accommodating. He made sure the heater and the lights were on since we arrived in the dark. Super cute property we would love to return!"

The house has a ton of old time charm with dark wood accents throughout. The three king beds were comfortable, and the house was as described. A full bath up and a full bath down.
