"Nice Cabin, good location"

"Overall, this property met its description. Centrally located to many stops on the trail. The only complaints we had were the sounds of what we believe were birds that may have nested inside the walls (it looked like there is some patching on the outside of the property) and the enormous amount of flies (mostly dead) inside. We tried to figure out where they were coming from but had no luck. There were enough that we had to sweep the dead ones up on a daily basis! If you can look past these...

"My husband and I throughly enjoyed our trip and stay at the cabin. We immersed ourselves into the history of the area and appreciated everything this cabin has seen and been through. "Some friends and I were in town for a bourbon tour and a Keeneland visit. The property is gorgeous, and centrally located between Lexington and Louisville, The house is immaculate and perfect for a trip like this. The host is excellent, and every detail of the property was thought of. Our stay was over and above anything we imagined. Thank You!! "

"We really enjoyed our stay at this property. Everything inside the house was very new and it was very clean. The master bed was comfy and the master bath is awesome. The property is in a great location right between Shelbyville & Frankfort making it easy to visit places. Lots of room for our dog to run outside and have fun. We enjoyed the party room as well. I would say the only thing that could be updated is the outside grill-it was pretty rusted and dirty inside. But overall a great stay...

Great family night!

"We had a fantastic night. There was a problem with how my bill was paid. I selected “pay at hotel,” wanting to use my debit card, and somehow at 3:00, my credit card was charged. The clerk at the desk was very friendly and helped me understand what was going on. She was very kind through my huffiness. The room, shower, pool, and breakfast were all great. We had a wonderful night. Everyone was friendly!"
