"Photos are accurate. A comfortable rustic house with a lovely garden and pool that provides a secluded peaceful haven for a relaxing time. Surrounded by orange and olive groves. Nice cantina in local village and other restaurants 20 min drive away. Key tourist sites in the east of the island are 1-2 hrs away. You will return home very rested. A warm welcome from Franco, the owner, and Francesca who is a very attentive guide for the visitor, always available on WhatsApp, and speaks great English....

"The accommodation is as described, with an amazing pool and large outside seating area. Salvo was always available for any guidance (local restaurants, places to visit) and support (transfer from/to airport and transport for visiting attractions). The house is in a peaceful, secluded location, overlooking countryside to the coast, and (unlike many listings) the pool really is as big as it looks in the photos, and well maintained. "Overall a lovely property. The pool is fantastic and great to come back to in the hot afternoons. There is a lovely outside area too where we spent most of our time. We moved the table to catch the evening breeze down the side of the house. Communication was easy and the owner came to meet us to drive to the property which was a bit out of the way. "The property is accessible by a long, windy and very stony road and we had rented an SUV-type car which was perfect having read the reviews in advance of booking. The house is well located for driving out to places (Noto, Modica, Syracuse, beaches, etc). Giorgio and his family were very welcoming (a meal and food awaited us on our arrival). The house is well equipped, the beds were all comfortable, garden and swimming pool are very well maintained and the location is super-peaceful."
