"Wow this apt is in a gorgeous historic building that has been lovingly renovated with an incredible artistic flair. Neighborhood is central with great nightlife. I really enjoyed my stay. Heads up for those of you who can't carry your bags up stairs-- there is no elevator so climbing a minimum of one floor up is necessary. I didn't mind a bit, just FYI. "

"We booked 2 large and charming king sized bedrooms for the 3 of us (adults), & both rooms had private bathrooms. The baths were updated in space, with plenty of hot water & fabulous water pressure. However (typical to traditional B&B's) they were not ensuite & had no A/C; which would have been welcomed in the unusual June heat. "The b&b was quite unique, being built above volcanic rock laid down centuries ago and sharing it with an ancient amphitheatre. Our suite was spacious, attractive had vistas featuring the rock and the amphitheatre. There is a room fridge, two wardrobes and two large screen TVs...OK if you speak italian. The shared kitchen area and patio were a bonus. Our host, Anna, was lovely, so helpful and interested in how our visit was progressing. A pleasant change from hotel staying. "

Be prepared for walking up stairs, as there is no lift, but once you are there you will experience a wonderful view with a lot of activities within a short walk.
