"The charming home is very remote and private. Updated kitchen and bathroom providing all amenities you could want. Comfortable beds, but master is very tall. Although the living area futon seating provides extra sleeping options, they are not the most comfortable for sitting/lounging. A softer chair or two would be welcome. Lovely deck for lake watching. Frogs aplenty!"

"Our visit was short but absolutely wonderful. Our host had thought of everything - coffee, tea, pancake mix, eggs, and a ton of other goodies that made us feel absolutely spoiled. We spent every moment possible enjoying the porch and overlooking the river. Bedding, furniture, and amenities were all incredible. We all wished we could have stayed much longer and would book again in a heartbeat if we’re ever back in the area."

"My adult family spent another great week at Birch Cabin. Everything we needed was right there and we were able to enjoy a relaxing week. The addition of air conditioners in all the bedrooms was a nice bonus this year. Everyone slept comfortably. We never get around to making the s'mores that Tom leaves for us but we do enjoy the individual parts, chocolate and the fudge stripe cookies he provided this year.
