"Wonderful stay in this beautiful historic property. Lynn greeted us at check in and gave us the full run down of the property and set the tone for a great long weekend away. Reliable wifi and a TV with all the apps if you're looking to stay connected and plenty of opportunities to disconnect with trails starting right out the front door, a fire pit, and books and games to take advantage of. Close to so many activities in the area but far enough away to enjoy total solitude as well."

"Beautiful secluded location. Quiet neighborhood right on the lake. Wonderful to go down to the dock in the morning and watch the lake come alive with a good cup of coffee. "Very clean, brand-new renovation. Nice kitchen and bathroom. Bed and pull out couches are very comfortable. The owner is very kind and easy to talk to, he lives in another house on the property, which gave us both peace of mind and lots of privacy."

"Beautiful leaves in reds, oranges, and yellows reflected in a gorgeous pond with a pair of loons slowly floating by....Perfection! What a gorgeous location! We had a great stay- the kitchen was wonderful to cook in- we loved the gas stove- bacon tasted so delicious with croissants in the morning! "Fairly new house on the pond. Little sand beach. Canoe, paddle board and kayaks (need new/more paddles). Spacious. Large, well appointed and supplied modern kitchen. Nice master suite. Only one bathroom on ground floor for 3 bedrooms. Plenty of bench seating on deck facing lake, but could use use some chairs with cushions. "

"The charming home is very remote and private. Updated kitchen and bathroom providing all amenities you could want. Comfortable beds, but master is very tall. Although the living area futon seating provides extra sleeping options, they are not the most comfortable for sitting/lounging. A softer chair or two would be welcome. Lovely deck for lake watching. Frogs aplenty!"

"Our visit was short but absolutely wonderful. Our host had thought of everything - coffee, tea, pancake mix, eggs, and a ton of other goodies that made us feel absolutely spoiled. We spent every moment possible enjoying the porch and overlooking the river. Bedding, furniture, and amenities were all incredible. We all wished we could have stayed much longer and would book again in a heartbeat if we’re ever back in the area."

"My adult family spent another great week at Birch Cabin. Everything we needed was right there and we were able to enjoy a relaxing week. The addition of air conditioners in all the bedrooms was a nice bonus this year. Everyone slept comfortably. We never get around to making the s'mores that Tom leaves for us but we do enjoy the individual parts, chocolate and the fudge stripe cookies he provided this year. "Absolutely loved this property. The beds are huge and there's lots of space and you can adjust the AC to your liking. The only thing we didnt like was we felt the hottub wasnt very clean. "

"This is a beautiful small hotel in an old mansion. We were in the area for a graduation, and just overnight. We had three rooms, which were each spacious and unique. Parking on-site was great, and the hotel is an easy walk to the downtown area, with lots of great shopping and dining options. We enjoyed our short stay very much. Would highly recommend!"
