"Prachtig huis, heel veel ruimte. zonder problemen kunnen hier vier kinderen en zes volwassenen verblijven. Duidelijk is wel dat het huis van eigenaar is gewisseld en er nog wat zaken moeten worden aangepakt. wij waren hier de tweede week van september, prachtig weer en veel gebruik gemaakt van het heerlijke zwembad."

"Beautiful views, lots of privacy and one of the best stocked properties that we have ever rented are what you get with Kilima. And an actual, proper, propane, full-sized BBQ grill which is virtually impossible to find in Europe. Ductless heat pumps in every room so you can always set the perfect temperature. We would have liked to spend even more time in the heated pool but unfortunately the September temperatures were a little lower than we had expected. We had a great stay at Kilima."

"Amazing location at the bottom of the old city, a quick hike up the hill (<10 min) to the back part. patio in particular was great, amazing views from the bedrooms which were decent sized and good bathrooms (laundry also good). However inside the house Stairs were very steep and narrow to get between bedrooms (1 per floor). "From the initial enquiry, communication with the owners was excellent. Anne and Frédéric are excellent hosts, very helpful without being intrusive. The accommodation cannot be faulted. Clean, very well equipped and very spacious. Small but well stocked supermarket within 5 minutes. Larger Carrefour and E Leclerc hypermarkets within 20 minutes. Pleasant 3 mile walk through vineyards and around a lake straight from the Gite with more demanding and walks and hikes within driving distance....

A great stay

"The hotel is inside the walled city, right next to the basilica. As no car is allowed to drive to the castle, the hotel offers a free shuttle to pick/drop you to the parking lot where you get in/off the taxi. The hotel has a lot of history but the condition itself needs some maintenance. The view from the hotel is unbeatable and the staff are super friendly. Overall is a very nice stay. Remember to book a taxi before arrival "

Lovely and great staff

"Only one night in Carcassonne and the old city was a bit of a disappointment, thankfully the hotel was lovely - small, family run, and parking was a bit of a faff - but enchanting. Apart from yet another sliding glass door 'covering' the loo, and annoyingly loud music all evening in the bar/restaurant/garden, it was a nice space to spend time. Food options were limited but nice, staff deserve special mention - top notch! Spaniel is your best friend if you have food, cat takes further convincing- would be amazing in summer I think."
