"Lovely staying in the castle but was tricky finding food in the morning if you didn’t want to go with hotel Continential breakfast. Service, hotel and location were excellent. Room was comfortable and bathroom was a good size for a hotel. "

"We love how close it was to the fortified city. It was so easy just to walk across the street to the gate. Rooms were clean (wallpaper a little outdated but no biggie). We tried the spa as well and enjoyed it. Front desk very helpful"

"Great location, perfectly situated in between the old and new city! Beautiful stroll through the new city ( which is about 800 years old) will take you from the gare to the hotel. From the hotel, an awesome walk over the vieux pont will take you to the old city and the chateau comtal. Keep in mind, rooms are very small and so are the bathrooms. But it is well kept and clean. Dont expect a lot amenities in the room. But there is hot water available in the lobby. The hotel over looks the pretty Gambetta Square and is a stone's throw from the Art Gallery which is free."

"Historic hotel in village center. Housekeeping left us with no toilet paper or tissue paper and had to wait for someone to drive back to hotel at night to resupply. Otherwise a wonderful place."
