"The villa has a great view of the lake and is extremely quiet. It’s secluded but still close to the main road and we felt like it was a safe area The directions provided by the owner are good but it is hard to find at night. The furniture, bedding and amenities are pretty old but we were not expecting 5 star. We loved Nuevo Arenal compared to the very touristy La Fortuna but there are of course more activities there. Overall very happy with the villa"

The house is well equipped and exactly what we were looking for. Bijagua is a quaint little town with friendly people. Car rental would be recommended. Overall an incredible experience. "What an amazing property and community. Beyond relaxing, breathtaking views, and Bev (seems to be the Mayor of the Vistas ) is just fantastic. We didn’t get in until very late, beyond our projected time, and she still ensured our check-in was smooth and seamless. She can provide great recommendations too, if anything is needed. "The people running it were so nice and extremely helpful. We got set up with a guide to take us on a hike to a spectacular waterfall, and were told of other places of interest. The food was delivered hot to the house and was plentiful and good. It was odd that in the very well stocked kitchen, there was no silverware. We don’t know if there was no hot water or if we didn’t figure out how to use it. Some outside chairs would have been nice "
