"Cute little hotel tucked into the mountains. With peaceful views and a locale near many attractions, it is quite charming place. Beds are a bit firm for my tastes but I'm particular. That's the only downside. "

"Beautiful secluded property. Drive in requires patience with the road conditions, but isn’t bad. Restaurant on site is convenient because you don’t want to spend time driving in and out. Hiking on property was nice and the staff were very friendly! "

"You can't get any closer to the hike for Rio Celeste and it is so much better tonight hike first thing in the morning before it gets too crowded and the animals are all still out! This place was so charming and simple. The staff are beyond hospitable and it feels like you are a guest of a family. The restaurant on site is very good and open until 8pm. "This place is a hidden gem! The rustic cabins are well maintained and clean. A short walk from the cabin and you arrive at the restaurant where the food is amazing and reasonably priced. The hosts were so nice and helpful, making suggestions for our hikes and other options for dinner (although we ate on site 4 times it was so good). Our kids miss Lucky and Domino and wanted to take the puppies home :-) I would definitely recommend!"

"The space was really beautiful and was everything we needed. I was facilitating a wellness retreat and the large room was perfect for our participants and activities. The rooms were great and so was the space. My only recommendation is to make it clear in the posting that the swimming pool and labyrinth area is located in another part of the location of the property and is not walkable to get to. Thank you."

"What a perfect place to spent your holidays! The house is amazing. The garden is full of wildlife and flowers. The hosts are the kindest we met sofar. We are on our 3,5 week honeymoon thru Costa Rica en this is our stay for day 8. Heylin and her husband made our stay extra special. Nothing is problem and anything seems possible. Everything was just perfect!"

"Secluded large space, used to be a boutique hotel with now four rooms open/in use. Kids loved roaming around the property with the two horses being the fence and swimming in the pool with the beautiful views of the volcano Older property that fell a bit into disrepair, not the cheapest, but really responsive host who sent out the cleaning crew one more time Really relaxing, with hot springs just 5-10 minute drive away, we really enjoyed!"

"A great choice in this area for a budget property. Room was very clean, staff was friendly. We were entertained in the morning by a troop of Capuchin Monkeys while eating the included breakfast."

"We had the deluxe bungalow, it was very clean, spacious and private. Very safe place that is just outside the small town of Bijagua. Can get pretty windy at night which is normal in the mountains, I am a sensitive sleeper so earplugs and eye covers recommended to help you get a good nights rest. Reasonable price for a pretty cute place with friendly prompt service and nice breakfast. About 20-30min drive from Tenorio National Park to see Rio Celeste. "

"This place was a perfect little quiet getaway. The food onsite is some of the best food we had in Costa Rica. I highly recommend the pescado for lunch/dinner. We did not have 4WD but we made it just fine and left the site every day for site seeing. Don’t let the 1st downhill discourage you, once you get to the bottom of it it’s pretty easy road from there. We do love in Utah and are used to off-road driving, so if you’re not used it dirt roads it may be a little intimidating. We timed the drive...

"My favourite place by far on our costa rica trip! Cabin had everything you could possibly need, we even made our own dinner one night. Owners are amazing, friendly people with so much knowledge of the area and all the animals and plants. Propertly is absolutely beautiful, with trails and a very nice garden (their super friendly dog even came with us on our walk around the property, which we loved!) Lots of birds right outside your own little balcony. And the best part.. there is a sloth! Right...

"Our stay at this home was amazing. Patrick, the host, made it so easy. He scheduled a car to pick all 15 of us up from the airport and had a delicious Costa Rican dinner ready. All the food that was made for us was delicious! He gave us suggestions for excursions and booked anything that needed reservations. The house is beautiful with so many unique details. The views of the lake are breathtaking. The house was very clean. The pool and hot tub were great to go in after a long day of traveling....

"I liked the friendly staff and the amazing views of Lake Arenal from the dining area. The restaurant features 8 different artisanal beers that are brewed on the property. The pool is a decent size for swimming and the hot tub grotta felt very relaxing. The hotel also features fun games including pool billard etc. and other amenities. Overall a fun and relaxing experience."

"We stayed in the dome tent and it was amazing! We had a beautiful view when we woke up in the morning. There were showers and a mini fridge available too. The food at the ranch is amazing! The cook is wonderful. The jacuzi, pool, and animals were also a great add on to a wonderful stay!"
