"This is a beautiful resort that is a bit far from town but very lovely and quiet. They have wonderful staff that are happy to help you. There are events to that you can do while on the property- I did a horseback ride to the "top of the world" with my kids. It was wonderful, and we saw 2 waterfalls as well. The resort has a nice trail where you can see a fumerole- steam and hot water coming from the ground- and bubbling mud too. There is ziplining and plenty of food choices at the restaurant. They all spoke English and were so kind to my family. I didn't try the spa but I'm sure it's top notch too."

"Rustic and wonderful!! Various soaking options, beautiful grounds & flowers & butterflies and flora and fauna. We even saw a sloth and howler monkeys. Massages therapist has magic hands! We would def stay here again. Be prepared to travel far on bumpy road. Food was great off the ball inclusive menu. People soooo friendly! "

"Overall room looked like the pictures. No evelvator on property. AC worked great. Clean. Breakfast place on site. Overall staff were nice with limited english. Parking is the only sketchy part."

"The villa is just as described and the location is cool. We spent days exploring the area, late afternoons cooling off in the pool and evenings watching the sunset. The walk down to the river is easy and we spent an afternoon hanging out there and swimming in the water. As others have said, there is still a lot of construction happening on the property and when complete the place will be fantastic. For now, there are no other amenities like a restaurant or spa on site but they are building it.Some amenities we felt were lacking in the villa were a place to hang clothes or a dresser to unpack any luggage. So, while staying there you will be living out of your bags, literally. Another item that would have been nice was an umbrella or some sort of shade during the afternoons. The deck and pool face west which makes for great sunsets but the afternoon sun/heat can be quite extreme with no shade available. There are trees around the pool and back patio but are too small yet to provide any shade. Finally, the only seating in the villa are some dining chairs and some deck loungers. There are no padded chairs in the bedrooms or the the kitchen area where we could relax. There is no living room just the two bedrooms w/bathrooms and a kitchen so hanging out as a group happens outside or in the kitchen. Not the end of the world, and the listing is accurate for amenities and rooms but an area to hang out inside on some comfortable seating would be nice.Orlando, the manager is great"
