Other rooms not facing the road might be quieter. No restaurants or food service on the property and it’s a bit of a walk to the restaurants. "

"The check in is SO confusing. We checked in at the castle up the road. They stated we were in the cottage so we went to the cottage which did not have our room number. We went back to the castle and they finally told us to go to the pub and the room was above it. Great room, 2 bathrooms!"

I had the best steamed mussels of anywhere I’ve eaten and my wife had an incredible fish and chips. This house is wonderful, just a short drive from Fort Mason"
