Very little room to place toothbrush and toothpaste, let alone makeup and hair accessories. Appeared to be black mold on bathroom wall, so no place to hang shower towels. Two lightbulbs out in the bedroom ceiling fan. Kitchen cabinetry was in disarray. TV way to small. Wall air conditioner does not cool into the bedroom. It only cools the open living/kitchen area. "You won’t find a better property in chimney rock. They did a great job with the updates to the grounds and the rooms. The “backyard” is amazing. The only negative to come by is the $50 charge to check in early. $50 for a couple hours? If the room is ready, let the guests in! I know it’s policy and I get it. Lots of hotels try it, just pet peeve of mine when traveling. Again though, just an amazing spot!"
