"Hix Island House is a property like no other we've visited. If you are looking for tranquility and beauty, without all the noise technology brings, this is the place for you. Become one with nature as you are surrounded by beautiful tropical plants, trees, iguanas, and horses. Delight in the star lit sky from there pool and try to count them all...just don't forget your bug spray! That would be the only draw back. However, it's well worth it!"

"2nd time here and I will be a regular. This has to be the most beautiful resort on the planet. Island, water park, pools, all built within a mountain. Also walking distance from some local restaurants. The people here in PR are beautiful and friendly. I love this place."

"Great self service… we stayed a night in culebra… we got there at 7am and had a locker to leave our stuff so we can go explore the island and snorkel in peace. The view is awesome… at night you may hear some noice as it’s right next to the restaurant “Cocina” but that didn’t bother us with how exhausted we were… and I use white noise to sleep. "

"It is an amazing place offering a cool chic tropical atmosphere, particularly enjoyable in low season. Swimming in the pool next to the wild horses is quite an experience, the beach next to the property is deserted and very beautiful. Service is thoughtful and dedicated. Restaurant ok but overpriced, the property is barely walking distance from town, no transportation offered. Also some revamping necessary. "

"This place is incredible!!! The pictures don’t do it justice. We had a private back yard and private stretch of beach to ourselves - and even the infinity pool to ourselves directly on the beach. My whole family loved it - the hotel was like our private beach mansion. Even the two bedroom suite had super high ceilings looking out over the beach with beautiful sunsets. A must stay!!!"

"Vieques Island is wonderful. Highly recommend. Tyler was super helpful and great about accommodating and communicating. Wish we’d stayed many more nights. Lots of cat around property. Not inside. There is a dipping pool but I didn’t even get a look at it so can’t give much feedback. Nice, quaint property. No idea how many rooms but I think they all vary in size and how they are decorated. Would stay here again!"
