"First call to get directions was answered and taken care of. The relief the place matched the pictures and it be more beautiful in person meant much. Once inside I felt at home. The cleanliness and decor is better than hotel. Restaurants, a gas station and the beautiful beach is less than 5 min in a car. 15-20 if you walk. If I didn't have an itinerary I'd just stay here "

"Great location for going to the beach, kayak to bioluminescent bay, 30 minutes to el yunque forest, 30 minutes to ferry to go to vieques/culebra island. Minor inconvenience was shower curtain non functional , water would be everywhere in bathroom after shower, sink drain was very slow. Otherwise a wonderful stay."

"Overall it was a great stay. We enjoyed the view each morning whilst drinking our morning coffee. The condo was clean and might just need some upkeep. Check in was super easy and we appreciated the condo security. There is some feedback for the host. We were expecting to cook our dinners in the condo and i was disappointed with the lack of working knives, a cutting board, etc. There was one old plastic spatula. I would just recommend in providing some good cooking supplies, more than two trash...

"We stayed four nights here. It had everything we needed for a great getaway, including lovely outdoor spaces, front and back. We especially appreciated all the beach gear available for use. You'll want a golf cart or other vehicle for this location, but you'll generally want one on Culebra anyway. And D's Garden is only a couple minute's walk away for groceries, smoothies, wraps, etc. We definitely recommend this cottage!"

"Absolutely peaceful and wonderful!!! Great communication. Unfortunately the cafe was not open during our stay but that posed no problem with us. I suggest plan ahead and be stocked on beer or what not. The regular ferry that carries many people was down for repair/inspection, but they utilized a barge. This is not common. The only bad thing to that was they could only transport 5-6 at a time. Our stay was 100 percent awesome !!!"

"The condo itself was spotless, well-appointed and very pleasant. The host was very communicative and responded to all of our questions promptly. The ferry is super convenient and parking at the ferry dock is safe and inexpensive. The island itself is a little weather-beaten, and we had to prop up the net to play tennis, but there was no competition for the courts and the pool was very nice. We drove to Seven Seas beach almost every day and loved it."

"We had an amazing stay at Casa Almendro :) Breathtaking views, walking distance to shops, restaurants and beach:) Other attractions, to include kayaking the Bio Illuminescent Bay and Black Sand Beach a very short distance. We were pleasantly surprised with the whole experience. Eileen was an amazing host, quick to respond to our questions. We plan to return in the future:)"
