"This is by far the best family rental we've ever stayed at! The house was impeccable and designed perfectly so that we never felt crowded. The game barn outside is where we spent a lot of our time. It was a great place for kids, teens, and adults alike! We also loved looking at the cows!!! If you're looking for a peaceful family getaway, look no further!"

"Amazing place to stay that really brings you back to the days when things were a little slower paced. Lots of old car and gas station memorabilia that is decorated very nicely. The highway 90 out front was very quite and not real busy. Train is close by but did not bother or effect us in the least. Front outdoor area nice to relax with coffee and start the day and the backyard area with firepit is a great place to end that day. Everything was clean and tidy with plenty of necessary supplies....

"Great property conveniently located in Schulenberg. We were greeted with a luscious cake and our family really enjoyed the pool! Very nicely renovated farmhouse, but note the steps to the second floor are steep and narrow - the way they were built back then."

"The check in was a breeze and check out. Contacted the host and received quick responses. The home is beautiful and perfect for families. We had 7 adults and 2 children under 5. Our 4 year old granddaughter loved sleeping in the flexible space and made herself quite cozy! The upstair bedrooms are spacious and plenty of room for couples or parents plus 1or 2 small children. "My husband and I enjoyed our stay at The Evergreen Escape! Very comfortable house and we liked that we were able to bring our little pup along for the trip also! It was quiet, comfortable and very roomy! We also were able to enjoy the hot tub while we were there! The coffee/teas and snacks that were provided were a great addition also!"
