"6 of us stayed here for a weekend getaway and time at the brewery. Location is great just a few minutes from the brewery, property is nice and quiet. Loved the back porch, fire pit and country setting. The only thing this property was missing for us was an outside grill, wish they had a cornhole set or other yard games because we really enjoyed our down time at the house. Would definitely stay here again."

"Great property conveniently located in Schulenberg. We were greeted with a luscious cake and our family really enjoyed the pool! Very nicely renovated farmhouse, but note the steps to the second floor are steep and narrow - the way they were built back then."

"We were a group of 4 ladies in LaGrange for a meeting. The location was remote and very relaxing. Check in info is a little off, no automatic gate so no gate code needed. Cleanliness was ok but was not at level expected for the price. Shower heads appeared to be clogged with mineral deposits affecting water pressure. Beds were comfortable and furnishings were very nice. "

"Loved the location, so close to everything we wanted to do and see. House was decorated so well and close to period. Photos of the original family were a nice surprise. So much thought and planning went into making our stay extra special. Trains were a little noisy but otherwise everything was great! Would recommend to others."

"This was the last stop on a tour of (part) of Texas for us. I'm a big shiner fan so we wanted to go there. This house is very close to the brewery and if it was almost 100 when we were gone ng, we would have walked the half mile or so. Two large rooms, bed was comfy to me. Carport is a bit narrow, but not a big deal, we were able to fit a 4runner in it, so most everything else this side of a dually should fit. We will definitely be using this house again next time we are in shiner!"
