"Was honestly a little shocked at the state of the place given the pricing. We weren’t able to check in at 4p as stated on the listing. The bathroom door wouldn’t close all the way so luckily I was very familiar with the friend I stayed with. Some panel fell off the wall in the middle of the night which startled us. "Such a lovely Villa and a helpful property manager. If you're looking for a unique experience and a beautiful get away then this is your place! Amazing view of Bellagio just across the water on Lago Como. Downtown Varenna is just a short 10 minute drive from the Villa but it feels remote and with the Villa being right on the waterfront, the sounds of the water lapping on the rocks below can lull you to sleep at night. "Beautiful property in quiet area. The apartment is well appointed and plenty of space for 2-4 people. We especially enjoyed the large patio and beautiful views. For those that don’t rent a car, the walk into Varenna is almost two miles and had some stairs. The walk itself has many sights but would be difficult for anyone with mobility issues.
