"If you check back, I stayed here a year ago. It wasn't so good. But a year later and new owners and my god what a change. Parking is great. Met by welcoming staff. I had my usual room and it had been redecorated and now the windows open, no longer painted closed. Lovely powerful shower. Last year the evening meal was terrible, tiny portions and over priced. But with the new owners they have turned it around. I had a lovely evening meal at a good price. Mon to Fri they have deals on two & three...

"Very nice with warm and welcoming atmosphere. Staff were absolutely brilliant. Food was excellent. Room was comfy and warm. Bed was lovely, didn't want to get up lol. "Very welcoming check in and out. Room number 2. Large comfortable room and bathroom. Quiet. Toiletries, coffee machine, tea, biscuits, water provided. Approx 20 mins walk into city centre (a bit of a hill coming back up but perfectly do-able). Tasty large breakfast (paid for separately) Very friendly. Will definitely stay again"

"Great location, finding parking wasn’t bad although it did cost us £25 to park for one night. The room didn’t have an expresso machine as advertised and we only had one coffee each on arrival and that was it. Would have been nice to have more coffee and milk. Minor details but makes the difference. Overall though, was satisfied with the stay and location. "
