"Could not recommend this accommodation enough - a real hidden gem! Massive, secure 2 bedroom apartment in a wider bunkhouse complex which was, when we stayed, not occupied. Only 5 mins drive from Kirriemuir and so quiet and peaceful - in the heart of the countryside. Comms were great and all mod cons throughout including WiFi, TVs in all rooms and even a starter hamper! Will definitely book again. The dog loved the outdoor space which is literally ‘on your doorstep’! A+"

"Amazing cliff top sea views gorgeous empty beach. Quirky accommodation with all you need for a short stay. Host was a very friendly and helpful guy. We went by train but a car would be beneficial as although not far from the village it's a little remote with unlit dirt tracks probably ok in summer but not recommended coming home from the village pub in the dark. "The hotel is easy to find with plenty of parking. Check in was quick and the girl who showed me to the room was very polite and friendly. The room is big enough for what I needed, although maybe a little dated and the only thing I would really say that was a negative is the room was cold. "Absolutely loved this quirky castle. The owners was so friendly and welcoming. Very knowledgeable about the castles history and did a personal tour which I loved. His love for the property showed so much in this tour. Breakfast was delicious and left nothing to ask for. Would stay here again. No complaints. "
