"A great pub stopover. Stayed here for one night whilst working in the area. Nothing at all to complain about. Staff were really friendly and made you feel welcome. Food was good, Both evening meal and breakfast. At the time of my visit the accommodation was being redecorated which gave the place a more modern feel. "Just a weekend away in February. Pretty dreich outside and bitterly cold, so it was a time to hunker down but our room provided space for board games and a TV. Bar was good. "The hostess is a gem! The house is quaint and peaceful. Fabulous breakfast and I love the living room on the bottom floor. Water pressure could be better, but that may just be an issue with the area so I wouldn't fault the propriator for that. The twin mattress in the room was meant for a small child. It was not comfortable for a third adult, but the main mattress was great. Still five stars because the owner is so accommodating and the place is very nice. "

"Could not recommend this accommodation enough - a real hidden gem! Massive, secure 2 bedroom apartment in a wider bunkhouse complex which was, when we stayed, not occupied. Only 5 mins drive from Kirriemuir and so quiet and peaceful - in the heart of the countryside. Comms were great and all mod cons throughout including WiFi, TVs in all rooms and even a starter hamper! Will definitely book again. The dog loved the outdoor space which is literally ‘on your doorstep’! A+"
