"Walking into the Palais Faraz is an impressive experience—the public areas are beautiful and exude a sense of grandeur. However, the experience in the room was less than stellar. The decor felt dated, though the bed was very comfortable. Unfortunately, the bathroom design was not ideal for privacy. "We had a late check in, they checked us in quickly and gave us delicious mint tea. Breakfast was available whenever we got up which was a plus. Room provided much needed thick comforters to battle the frigid nights. No heating. Hot water was not available in the evening. Decent cost for two night December holiday stay."
