"What a lovely surprise! When I learnt this was a conference centre, I was unsure, but it was the most conveniently placed for my work. I'm so glad I did. The whole ambience was lovely, with a spacious, warm, comfortable room and lots of TV options. Breakfast had a wonderful variety of top quality locally sourced food, and a bonus was the Stables Pub with real ale and pub classics like chilli, fish & chips, beef and ale pie. The icing on the cake was a £5 voucher for each day you opted not to have your room serviced (max 3 days). This could be used against anything on the premises. I hope to be back soon "

"Rooms are only cleaned every three days but you can request anything from reception, however we were staying four nights and only had two teabags, two milk sachets and one bath towel between us. Our room was not checked or cleaned at all"

"We liked the spacious, well furnished room which was well sound proofed with no traffic noise; the underground carpark was very convenient and easy to use. We did not eat there but the food and drinks menu appeared reasonable. It's in a good location for walking to the city centre and station. Would definitely recommend."
