"The staff at Oryx Hostel were very friendly and helpful. They offer great activities around Tulum everyday and you can rent bikes for an affordable price. "Overall we enjoyed our stay. The hostel is in a good location, and the staff is awesome! There are a few maintenance issues that should be addressed. We had issues with our shower clogging up and our room flooded during a heavy rain. The area is definitely pretty loud, so beware if you’re a light sleeper. In the end it was a good value for the price, and I’d consider it for a future stay."

"We really really liked that place! We went with the kids and it was super! The location is really nice, there's a shared kitchen and living room, the staff is really nice and we felt a little bit like home! You can walk in the principal street of Tulum where there's a lot of restaurants and shops. Don't except to be in a 4-stars hotel and you will really enjoy the place!"
