"Absolutely brilliant place to stay. Spent two nights here, had breakfasts and an evening meal and cannot fault anything. Initially given room 5 which was an amazing room, but sadly we asked to change as main doors beneath constantly banging when opened or closed was very noisy and annoying. Moved to another lovely room, though smaller (11), was lovely and quiet as traffic lessened. All staff were super, helpful, polite and very welcoming. We will be back. "

"A wonderful stay, albeit only one night, that was everything we were hoping for and more. From the warm welcome to the large comfortable room, it really was fantastic. We ended up staying for dinner (nowhere else local as far as we could see) but we're so glad we did. As a family we have dietary needs (I'm vegetarian and my wife is gluten-intolerant) but they were more than happy to help and accommodate. I had the Sweet Potato Gnocchi (it was a 'special') and it was arguably one of the best meals I've ever had. Absolutely beautiful. If we ever need to stay in the area again, I won't hesitate to book again."

"Property is large with ample parking and couple of minites from centre which has plenty going on. Thebrooms are large also, although a little dated, the facilities downstairs have all been recently refurbished and look great. All the staff were welcoming and friendly and the breakfast was great. The only issue we had was when we were checking in, in which we had paid for an early check in, the reception desk was not manned, nobody came to assist for nearly 10 minutes and although we had paid for an early check in for 1pm we didnt get to the room until after 1.15pm, which wouldnt have been too much of an issue but when paying £20 for each room for 2 hours you dont expect to lose the first 15 minutes of this waiting at reception to get served and then waiting to see if housekeeping had the rooms ready. Other than that we had a great stay and would stay again but certainly not be requesting an early check in."
