"Ein schönes und gut eingerichtetes Häuschen in einer wunderschönen kleinen Faja an der Südostseite von São Jorge. Auf der Anfahrt gut einkaufen und ein Mietauto sind sehr hilfreich. Küche sehr gut ausgestattet. Waschmaschine und Trockner vorhanden. Lage sehr gut zum Baden im Meer im Naturschwimmbecken im kleinen Hafen, fußläufig in 3min erreichbar. Wunderbare Sitzecke mit Blick aufs Meer."

"What a great host and the setting was absolutely heavenly. We came so my wife and daughters experience Pico as it was the home of my Avo and Ava who where from Lages do Pico and they get to know there heritage. We will return again for a much longer stay and the people of the Pico are warm and friendly will to assist. The food was spectacular and it brought me back to my childhood growing up in a Azorean Portuguese family in California. Thank you and my Gods Blessings be with all in the Pico."

"We had three couples in our group and the house accommodated us well. The house was just as pictured, it was comfortable, very clean and had all that we would need while we were there. Maria was available to answer any questions we might have. The views from the house were spectacular, it was easy to relax on the back porch all day and into the evening. "The house location was good, the village and the natural pool very nice. *****BUT****** the house was not at all the one described. Only 2 rooms instead of 3 announced ! The third room behind the house was closed and, when we found the key, what a surprise ! A very bad surprise ! It seems to be abandoned for several years. All inside was so wet, moldy and dirty. "Isa was so amazing with communication and helping me set up any needs that I had for my trip. There was a welcome basket with bread and cheese and tea and coffee and water which was so much appreciated. A beautiful setting on their banana farm and close to an amazing restaurant and nice hiking. I love that the property has a bathtub for after a long day of hiking. Outdoor patio and barbecue we're a lovely place to end the day as well. I can't recommend this property more for a quiet place on...

"This house exceeded our expectations in every regard. It is superbly situated, overlooking the town and the sea. It has all the faculties that you could need inside and it also has a very pleasant, shaded, outside space. It is only five minutes walk into the town, where there are a number of bars and cafes and a very good little shop. João kindly gave us a tour of the immediate area when we arrived, this turned out to very useful in finding our way around later on."

"Historical Portuguese lava stone building that has been completely modernized with all amenities without losing it's traditional charm. Quiet location in close proximity to natural lava pools. Hosts were wonderful to work and communicate with. When there was an issue with the plumbing it was resolved immediately. We were able to gain an appreciation for Portuguese culture. Local store nearby. A car is essential. Restful and relaxing. Great home base when touring the island."

"Estuvimos a principios de mayo y la zona de Prainha estaba agradablemente vacía. El lugar de la casa es un sitio tranquilo con vistas y con todas las comodidaded que uno necesita en sus vacaciones. Hicimos fuego y no nos faltó leña. Todo funcionaba muy bien. Lo único fue que había humedad, a lo cual había un deshumidificador siempre en marcha. Pero la isla en general es húmeda."
