Everything was as described in the listing and the local property manager was lovely and made the check-in and check-out process seamless. "It was a great place in order to discover the beautiful areas of the region of Portugal. The village is very quiet and the people are charming, but the bakery opposite would bake in the evening which could mean smoke coming into garden if the wind was in the right direction. Despite this I would definitely stay again. Natalie was very good at arranging the pre-stay information. "

"What an amazing time we had in Orvalhos! The house sits on a hill where it overlooks the Alentejo plaines. In the mornings , the sounds of bells and birds always made me happy. "What an amazing place. The room was wonderful, spacious, well-appointed. The service was friendly with lots of nice touches such as a delicious continental breakfast which is delivered to the room after you pick what is in it. Our room had an absolutely lovely patio as well. Very centrally located, right behind the cathedral in the Moorish neighborhood. Highly recommended. "
