"It was a great place in order to discover the beautiful areas of the region of Portugal. The village is very quiet and the people are charming, but the bakery opposite would bake in the evening which could mean smoke coming into garden if the wind was in the right direction. Despite this I would definitely stay again. Natalie was very good at arranging the pre-stay information. "

"What an amazing time we had in Orvalhos! The house sits on a hill where it overlooks the Alentejo plaines. In the mornings , the sounds of bells and birds always made me happy. The locals are just as nice! The house was very clean and it had all we needed. We kept it warm by using the fireplace every evening. "We had an incredible stay in this lovely quiet village well away from the crowds of tourists. This gorgeous, large, cool, beautifully laid out house provided plenty of space for 8 people - 4 adults and 4 kids.
