I wish i could have stayed here longer. Felt secluded enough but the beach and restaurants either a short walk or quick drive away. If i had to give anything negative and this is a stretch the water could have been hotter for the showers. "

"This property was perfect for our family spring break trip. We had eleven people staying in this home. This home would accommodate many more. The location directly on the beach was wonderful. The older folks enjoyed watching the surfing right in front of the home. The younger ones enjoyed the boogie boards. The pool access 3 doors down was perfect...with its great food and drinks !!! Enjoyed watching the Macaws every afternoon at the pool. "

"The house was perfect and was very welcoming and had all the necessities needed. The rooms are located on the second floor with a balcony which allowed you to see the sunrise and sunset as well as watch the local fishermen coming in and count with their catches for sale. The dark sand and warm water was welcoming with a lot of wildlife to see and enjoy. The people are very friendly and patient with tourists and all the food was amazing. Perfect location close enough to still enjoy Manuel Antonio...

"Casa Sirena is truly wonderful, and we appreciate Emily sharing her little slice of paradise with us. The house is right on the sandy beach, and we enjoyed boogie boarding and playing in the waves for hours and hours! The water is warm and the waves are perfect! "The house is beyond beautiful and immaculately clean. We loved the modern decor and open concept. The view of the pacific stunning! The pool was the perfect size for our family of four with two teen boys and there was more than enough room. There are several security checkpoints in the community. "You can't miss with this beautifully appointed Condo on South Jaco. We came with family and friends for mostly a surfing trip but did many other adventures as well. There are so many close amenities that are just a short walk away....restaurants...grocery....beach. The Condo is extremely well appointed with everything you need and more. This is pretty much a 5-Star resort for you and your friends. Bonus...a lap pool. We are already planning our return."

"Amazing house a very short walk to the beach. In a small gated community with community pool and very cute little swim up bar/restaurant with great vibes. The community pool was a huge bonus travelling with kids. Ocean great for surfing but known to have rip currents. We boogie boarded and waded around with kids aged 10-16. "The house was the perfect size for 12 of us. Mellisa was wonderful. She decorated the house for my niece's birthday when we arrived and had the house full of groceries fror us and a special treat. She also set up the chefs who were awesome. Small problems that didn't bother us to much were the toilet didn't work in the guess house, every shower in the main house had temperature differences, some had no hot water, some had no cold water. The pool bathroom didn't work, the jets in the hot tub...

"This property was exactly as described! Keylor our concierge was extremely helpful with evey little detail! He booked all our excursions and even a rental car. He is absolutely amazing at his job. "Very nice property for an affordable price. I just wish they had better communication about not being able to allow guests in after check-in it kind of started my trip off bad. They need a bigger tv in the living room and Bluetooth upgrades for amenities inside the room. Other than that, I enjoyed my stay and would recommend it if you're a couple or bringing your family to Jaco. Very safe tourist location. "

"We had no issues checking in. After we got settled we found that our A/C wasn’t working. After informing the people at the front, the kind man came to our room, saw the A/C was clearly broken and got us into a new room asap. He then worked for 2 hours to help us arrange a night walk. He was brilliant. This resort is not on the beach but a short walk to the beach. And Ruis at the bar is fantastic. "

"The host was more than accommodating throughout the booking, arrival and even allowing us late checkout time, which we needed because of a tour at the nearby Carara National Park. The room was beautiful with an amazing ocean view, clean and convenient with a kitchenette. We saw macaws fly by! Loved everything about Akua!"

Home Away From Home

"I stay here very often. Staff are very friendly and helpful. My son lives just 200 meters up Las Monas and I always stay here when I am visiting with him. Wonderful chef for breakfast. The pool are and amenities are always tidy and clean. Thanks for the consistency over the years!"
