"Really lovely apartment just outside the city walls. Spotlessly clean, really comfortable and with everything you need for a great stay. Little extras including, sourdough bread, butter, preserves, milk, coffee, tea, orange juice, cereals, chocolate , wine and a treat from Betty's all made it feel really special and that you are very welcome. Communication before arrival was great, as was check in when we were helped with our bags down the steps and shown around. Anita (our host) was on holiday...

It was a fantastic base while we spent most of our time out and about in York (20 - 30 minutes away) and Leeds (30 - 40 minutes away). Thanks for the recommendation of Dougies taxis as well, this was really helpful and they were great with really friendly drivers. Lovely location and house, particularly the garden. Perhaps even better if there were more showers (only 2) but this did not detract from the...

"The provided facilities, in terms of the fridge shack etc could do with updating and the site is a lot smaller than anticipated so we were greatful of only one other pod being occupied. Had there have been others there, there wouldn’t have been much privacy at all. Coat hooks being on the same wall as the plugs/shelf etc meant coats hanging over the kettle , but the pod itself was lovely and clean, amazingly comfortable bed.
