"We don't get away very often and finding an affordable price with Astor, made our trip possible. The rooms were clean with communal spaces to; mingle, pay games, watch movies, plus a communal kitchen. However we chose to stick to our room as we planned as most of our time would be spent in the city. A easy walk to the city centre plus a bus for those that struggle right out side the hostel. "I would recommend a stay here for the fabulous central location. The room was clean and check in instructions were very clear. Please be aware there was no reception as such, but if needed you can leave your luggage at the bar next door, and there were emergency contacts listed. We didn't need any of this but good to know. There were a couple of bottles of water in the room and some discount vouchers, all of which were an unexpected bonus. The kitchenette was handy if you wanted to make a drink...

"Very few properties are perfect and this property had a few issues, but these pale in comparison to the convenience, location, professionalism, and cleanliness. The staff more were truly amazing and they themselves deserve five stars. They were accommodating, considerate, professional, efficient, kind, and truly represented the very best of York. I would be inclined to make these apartments my go to place for any future visits to York."
