"The property is incredibly beautiful; full of lush flowers, fruit trees, exotic birds, and a trail that leads to a large, clear, mountain stream. The temperature is cool and mild and theres a great view of the surrounding vegitation from the second story. Eduardo and his wife are beyond hospitable and welcoming, and made every effort to find ways to make our stay memorable and comfortable. "We had plenty of space for 4 guys. We spent most of our time in living room or balcony. The sound of the fountain and architecture of the house made it peaceful. You have the full view of the city. The staff were helpful and communicative over WhatsApp. We asked for messages and coordinated with professionals familiar with house. There’s a bit of travel to and from San Jose or sure but it’s worth it. Always tell driver to follow the signs and the street has white stones lining the roadway....

The house sits further back from the road than most houses in Costa Rica, but there is still a lot of road noise for someone coming from the United States. "A lovely house between Orosi and Paraiso, overlooking the Orosi Valley. Not far outside Paraiso--Waze took us right there. The house is beautiful and comfortable and very well appointed and supplied. The owner is only onsite part of the time, but is promptly available via WhatsApp. Her onsite assistant doesn't speak English, but we did fine with a little bit of Spanish and WhatsApp with the owner who speaks excellent English. We want to return to Casa Bartzis on a future trip--it's a winner!"
