"If you’re looking for a comfortable, relaxing place to stay, look no further! This cute home located right next to Shawnee National Forest was the perfect weekend getaway for us and our dogs. The house is back in the woods with over 8 acres to explore. And the stars at night were incredible! Everything was very clean and our host provided bottled water and had all the makings for coffee. Will definitely stay here again next time we visit!"

"I get the weather and the warmth, but there we 100s of lady bugs coming in every available spot in doors and windows. They made the main level and the upstairs unhabitable. The house itself was beautiful, cozy and welcoming. The propert was well maintained and the hot tub and fire pit were great additions. The location was great for local attractions and ease of travel. We would definitely stay here again, just not woth warm fall temps."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The wood panelling and the vaulted ceiling and the view were all so pretty. Very nice bathroom and kitchen. Lovely, very clean bedrooms and bedding. Super clean throughout. My only complaint is that the hot tub cover needs replacing. It was really difficult to open and close it. But, it was hot on a very cold January day. "

"Absolutely amazing place. Charming is a great word for it. Very well maintained and immaculately clean. Small but at the same time tons of space. Fully supplied with all amenities. Close to the lake and college. Quaint little town and the Anchor Grille may have the best chicken anywhere. Just a beautiful place to stay and we will definitely be going back again. "

"My husband and I were there for about a month while we were waiting for our new home to get finished. All the amenities of home. Nice friendly neighborhood. Close to shopping and easy food delivery. "

"This location was absolutely perfect for a combination of winery tours and hiking. It is tucked away off the road for a wonderful sense of privacy. The overall house was immaculately clean and sparkled just like in the photos. Kitchen was very large with two sink areas for prep. The professional stove took a minute to figure out but then cooking was a breeze. The only issue we had in the kitchen is that we never did figure out how to turn on the lights above the stove. "The house we as clean and comfortable. It is located in a beautiful country setting. The beds were comfortable. The owners were friendly, professional and helpful. We have stayed in other VRBO rentals in this area and this was by far the best one. We hope to stay there again in the future."
