Plenty of food options nearby, and downtown Great Barrington is only a short drive away. The house was super clean, gorgeously furnished, and very cozy. It even had all original wood floors which brings me to my only problem. There are multiple areas where the floor nails are raised and could potentially be a pain in your foot. "This property is very cool! We had everything we needed for a weekend getaway. The decor was really interesting and fun. Bed was very comfortable; shower was great! "Decent rental with good amenities. Could be closer to some areas of town with more stuff to do if you care about that. The biggest problem was that it's close to a train track and trains went by very frequently, and they were both loud and they shook the entire house every time. You get used to it, but if you are a light sleeper or have a small kids, it might be a concern."

"The cottage is a very small- one room studio with an uncomfortable sofa bed . We could feel the frame of the bed while lying down. Once the bed was open there was hardly any space to walk around to get to the bathroom or kitchen area.
