"This property was beautiful. The perfect space for my husband and I to bring the kids and their significant others to stay for Christmas. Each couple had their own bedroom, that included plenty of space and a bathroom. The downstairs area is a great space for playing games and hanging out. The cleanliness was a 10! "My friends and I get together every winter for a few days at a cabin or lodge somewhere in the Midwest. This lodge was, by far, the best place we have ever stayed. Also, it is close to some of the interesting historic parks within the Shawnee National Forest. In addition, Jessica immediately responded to any questions we had while staying there. I highly recommend this lodge to anyone seeking peace and quiet for a gathering of friends or family."

"Very enjoyable stay ... perfect size for my husband and I ... everything we needed. We spent a lot of time on the cute front porch enjoying nature from our seat on the glider. LOVED the swing hanging from the oak tree branch (took me back to my childhood). The neighborhood cat came over for a visit. My husband saw a hummingbird every morning. "My husband and I took our 3 sons ( 22 years old and twins that are 19). The cabin was perfect! It was very hot outside while we were there ( between 92-95 degrees every day but the AC kept up great and I was thankful for that! They have put a lot of wonderful touches and finishes on this cabin. It was very clean and comfortable. We loved the son porch that overlooked the river. We also loved the fire pit in the evenings. "My sister and I stayed for two nights. The cabin was exactly as advertised, very welcoming and comfortable. We had a fire one night and used the hot tub the next! We spent one day exploring and were close to many of the places we wanted to visit. One unique aspect was the book in the cabin that others who stayed, wrote in. It was helpful to guide our day of hiking. We will be BACK! If I had to complain, it went by too fast. "

And don't get me started on the hot tub (such a relief after hiking all day).
