"My sister and I stayed for two nights. The cabin was exactly as advertised, very welcoming and comfortable. We had a fire one night and used the hot tub the next! We spent one day exploring and were close to many of the places we wanted to visit. One unique aspect was the book in the cabin that others who stayed, wrote in. It was helpful to guide our day of hiking. We will be BACK! If I had to complain, it went by too fast. "

If I wouldn’t get in Trouble for trespassing I’d never leave lol. It was beyond beautiful and property owners were great people. "My friends and I get together every winter for a few days at a cabin or lodge somewhere in the Midwest. This lodge was, by far, the best place we have ever stayed. Also, it is close to some of the interesting historic parks within the Shawnee National Forest. In addition, Jessica immediately responded to any questions we had while staying there. I highly recommend this lodge to anyone seeking peace and quiet for a gathering of friends or family."

"My husband and I had a wonderful time staying here. The cabin was very cozy and homey. The location is excellent, just a few short minutes from town. Feels secluded while still being able to access stores and restaurants easily. The cabin was spotless upon arrival. The checkin and checkout process was super easy and simple, and the host was excellent and responsive with all communications. All in all, we loved staying here and are looking forward to staying again in the future. "
