Starting with the setting, on a babbling creek in the middle of the mountains in a small town that brings you back in time a little in a great way! "I'll start by saying i should have been more aware of the location. We just didn't expect it to be twelve miles from Black Hawk, the last few miles on gravel. That's great if that's what you're looking for. But the pictures don't show the busy highway 150 yards from the patio. There were nonstop trucks hauling up and down the steep hill, you can imagine the noise. They also don't show the neighbor across the way with the bright outdoor lights on 24x7, no star watching. "Just stayed at Sonder The Artesian. It was well located, lots of local dining and a cute neighborhood. I really liked the keyless access! The beds were comfortable. Livingroom furnishings were a bit “stiff” and would have appreciated a few more amenities in the kitchen (basic seasoning, salad sized bowl, etc.)With the street sweeping, construction and “No Parkjng Anytime”, parking was a little tricky, unless you got lucky. All in all, it worked out fine for our few days. "
