"Overall, we have a good time at the resort. Staff were excellent and very helpful, and the facilities were nice. There were some maintenance issues during our stay - unfortunately the hot water wasn’t functioning for the week we were there, so showers were cold (luckily the weather was hot so it was easy to warm up after :) ). "My sister and her husband and their almost 2 year old daughter joined me and my husband and our 18 year old daughter for a relaxing week at Villa Nueva Romana. The house was spacious, well appointed, clean and met our needs very well. There were a couple of small issues (broken toilet seat, broken pool net), which were addressed immediately upon bringing them to the owner's attention. we would stay there again."

Lots of security, including gated access, cameras, and plenty of security guards. All were pleasant to speak with, and helpful.
