"We brought family and friends to Villa Del Mar for a week long stay. We hosted our wedding at the villa as well. We had a wonderful experience. The food was fabulous. Omar, Joel, and Jose were so nice and helpful. Rebecca went above and beyond to help me plan the wedding for 10 months prior to our arrival. She was great at communicating and she answered every question I had and made sure we had everything we needed/wanted for our big day. She also came to check in periodically during our stay. Can’t recommend this place enough!"

"It's my third time on this property on 2024, I guess you can imagine how much I like this place. They make you feel like family and taking into consideration it's not a huge property you end knowing everybody. The food is good and this time I noticed great improvements in this topic related to presentation and quality of food. The animation team is absolutely the best thing of this Hotel. They are funny, creative and always go the extra mile to keep you entertained. Property gives you a great vibe and the beach is pretty but definitely summer is the best time to enjoy it. "This place is paradise. The hotel is perfect, recently renovated. The staff is beyond amazing with a perfect smile on their faces all the time. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable. Their Dominican breakfast is really delicious. The beach, I have no words. Service at the restaurant by Arelys and Horton was top. The receptionists are also super helpful. Security to enter the property makes you feel really safe. I’m definetely coming back. "

"Casa del Rio is phenomenal. The pictures do not do it justice. The common spaces are comfortable, and each bedroom has a full bathroom, and the bedrooms are, moreover, away from each other, so a big group (we were 11) can have privacy. The grounds are beautiful and immaculately maintained, the pool likewise, and the view is incredible. Add to that a lovely breeze and beach, and it's paradise. But the best part of our stay was the staff, who took care of us and fed us the best Caribbean food ever. They made our vacation perfect and perfectly restful. The property is next to a public beach, separated by the river (really a creek), which people come to swim and bathe in. Also, at times they played a lot of music. We were fine with that, but some people might not be. Most of the time, however, the beach was empty, and the waves were great for our kids. The beach was clean, the seawater warm, the river was clear, cooler, and refreshing. Phenomenal property."

"The villa is beautiful, clean, safe, comfortable! The view is amazing! The pool is amazing! Tony is an excellent host and responds immediately. The town, beaches, marketplaces are about 10 minutes to drive. We used to go the Sirena supermarket for groceries; they accept credit cards. However, the road to the villa is difficult, steep, and ugly. You need all-wheel drive SUV. A minor problem was the communication with the property management, they are very nice people, but speak Spanish only. We used the Google translator/live conversations, it was funny, but not always accurate. Anyway overall it was the exceptional stay!"

"Very nice house and pool, panoramic view. Access road is steep, narrow with loose material, it was fortunate we had a four wheel drive vehicle, a 2 wheel drive car would have difficulty. I do not know how access would be in the case of rain. Our visit was spoilt by work on the neighboring lot, an excavator with a hydraulic hammer was used to break rock and the constant hammering made staying in the house during the working day (5 days, 8.30 to 5.30) most unpleasant, we found it necessary to go out."
