"we stay here for a destination party. overall, our stay was great. The property is close by to the beach. Breakfast is included. You do have to cross a small street to the breakfast area, which is located on the beach. Breakfast was great. Staff is very friendly, approachable, and helpful. we stayed in two different villas which were clean, but the biggest issue was the amount of mosquitoes. housekeeping did come in to tighten up the rooms, but we did have to ask for additional towels. "The beach is awesome. Unfortunately, the price one pays is not reflected in the state of the rooms. Too many ruined down details and basic things missing that frankly makes you mad since they are really simple to repair. The staff is amazing but entangled trying to keep up with all the clients demands resulting from the lack of maintenance. It is a shame. This place used to be tops. Not anymore, and certainly not the “delux paradise “ they sell. Even the pool is missing tiles …"

Beautiful spot at Playa Bonita

"We felt so lucky to find Virginie’s Las Terrenas home! We were looking for a place on Playa Bonita to enjoy the beach while visiting family in the area and couldn’t have asked for a better spot. Everything was as described in the listing and Virginie was easy to get in touch with. The outdoor space is lovely, quiet, and spacious with a good size pool. The bedrooms likewise were comfortable — we were pretty thankful for the AC in each bedroom! Check in and out was seamless. The area is very safe and secure. Best of all, Playa Bonita is literally right there! We spent a lot of our time at the Beluga beach bar next door (great food, drinks, and service!), but there’s plenty of options up and down the beach. We will definitely look at staying here again next time we are in the area!"

Amazing stay

"The villa was beautiful. Our kids ages 4-8 really enjoyed the pool and the beach was a short walk. A little further down is a protected cove with shallow water and minimal waves (~8 min walk) which they loved. We had Wandel the private chef cook 3 dinners. He did all the shopping and clean up. He worked with us and also made sides that our picky children would eat. We had so much leftovers for lunch the next day! He was lovely and I highly recommend his service. Host was very responsive to all and any issues that came up. Only minor issue was my laundry was hung by the maid to dry on a day forecasted to rain but I was able to use the dryer without issue after I contacted the host. It was just an extra step I didn’t expect. Overall wonderful experience and we loved our stay."

"It's a nice house, and the Haitian staff is very friendly and helpful. But be aware that a big apartment complex is being built next door, with trucks and caterpillars starting to rumble around shortly after 7 in the morning. You should also know that the dirt road leading to the property can be difficult to pass with a regular vehicle after heavy rain."
