"We had a great stay, the newly renovated kitchen is gorgeous, the bathtub upstairs is huge. We slept well and had everything we needed. We shopped at Bergamot & Amor, had lunch at Sarducci’s in Montpelier & enjoyed the warmth of the pellet stove in the evenings."

"We had a great time at the Maplecroft Bed and breakfast in Barre, Vermont. Our host was very accomodating and the room and breakfast were both outstanding. There was a big snowstorm while we were there, which required me to sweep off/shovel out my own car (to which I would never object). However, we then left for the day and I wonder what might have happened if we had returned and found someone else in the parking spot we had shoveled out, requiring us to do it all over again. No other guest did this job, as they were likely leaving and not returning (it was Sunday, but we were staying another night and leaving Monday). I would recommend that Maplercroft should arrange to have spaces cleared on such days, as guests (some of whom might be elderly or disabled) should not have to shovel out their own parking spaces (although they should sweep off their own cars). A wal-behind snowblowere or a pickup with a plow would do the job fine. I repeat, however, that we had a great time, we were hosted very well and that this establishment is first rate."

"both for work and pleasure i do stay at fair amount of short term rentals. This house is extremely well maintained and managed. All utilities work perfectly, everything is brand new, and it is definitely the cleanest place that we had ever stayed at. Location is also perfect. Close to bars restaurants mountains whatever you might need. "

"We had a wonderful 3 night stay here. The home was clean & spacious. It also has plentiful amenities although they are quite basic. Nothing too luxurious, but they have everything you should need.The internet connection was strong for our phones, However, the TV connection was extremely spotty so we pretty much couldn't use it. That wasn't a big deal for us though as we were not there to veg out. The view from the home is absolutely breathtaking, (pictures online do not do it justice!) The property location is private yet convenient; It is just outside Montpellier & getting to the highway is very simple.Overall we had an amazing time in this home! "
