"Beautiful classic hotel that is grand in all aspects not just name. Aside from the opulent surroundings, the service was excellent - responsive and helpful staff. The breakfast (the only meal I had at the hotel) was absolutely outstanding. Super comfortable bed and room also - two nights of great sleep even though I don't normally sleep well away from home. The guest house is on several floors which does mean taking the stairs, however this is made clear from the start. Our breakfast, cooked by Mark, was excellent, piping hot and generous, service by Yvette was prompt and friendly. We were able to purchase vouchers for on-road parking at a good price.
