"Just an overnight to enjoy St. Augustine historical district and bond. This place is amazing on every level. I have traveled all over the US and the world and the do everything to perfection. Breakfast was a $20 home cooked meal for free, as well as free wine, water, sodas and homemade cookies. Best sheets and bed that are amazing. I could go on, but we will start coming here every two months for a couple weekend getaway. "

"My wife and I spent 3 nights in July 2024. On property parking is a definite perk. The my wife and I fell in love with St. Francis as soon as we arrived. Beautiful courtyard and quaint inn. The breakfast was good and coffee was also great and always available. Everyone was so nice and helpful with directions and ideas of what to do for our first visit to St. Augustine. A heads up… it’s really hot in the summer obviously but the gnats love to harass you just about anywhere you go in St....

Also, it is literally with 5 minutes walking distance to downtown. "

"The Southern Wind Inn was a fantastic place to stay, very convenient to the old St. Augustine area. We were able to walk to everything we wanted to go to. If you don't mind walking a little further, there is a convenience store about a mile away, also a nice walk. My only request for them is to improve the door sealing around the doors - it is an older building so getting some weather stripping on the doors will help with keeping the outside noises and weather out. We would consider returning...

"Beutifully renovated home, the bedding smelled freshly washed, and the beds were super comfy. There was muffins, which my kids enjoyed, and coffee in the morning. They are still renovating the outside but it didn't inconvenience us at all. My family of six loved it! Hopefully will be back soon."
