The onsen facilities were excellent - exactly what we needed to relax and enjoy the amazing surroundings. The kaiseki dinner on the 1st night and the Kobe beef on the 2nd night were excellent. We would definitely return to stay."

"The most beautiful place we stayed in Japan. The hotel, private onsens, and food were all amazing. The Japanese style room was beautiful, traditional but large and very comfortable. The staff was extremely kind, polite, and accommodating. Well worth the money and I recommend it to anyone who can make it to Arima."

"The ryokan is very convenient, it is close to Nara park and railway station. Staff is friendly and helpful, the hot tub is a huge plus although you may need to learn the manner of using it beforehand and it's a bit small, the capacity is 2 persons. However there is no passenger lift available, if you hate stairs you may need to reconsider."

"It was super easy to walk to from the metro. The area was quiet, peaceful, and there was a great area for shopping and eating. Nara park was not far. The ryokan was incredible and the temperature was perfect. The rooms were super clean and I love that they provided amenities. "

"Great location - barely 2 blocks away from the train station. The host, Sugita, that greeted us was fluent in English! She was very hospitable and gave us information/recommendations around the area. The mall across the bridge has many cute stores and food to check out. The whole area is very quiet and peaceful. We got a room with a private onsen, facing the water - beautiful view. Strongly recommend!"
